People are claiming it is fast but based on what ? faster development, run time, concurrency, async parallel task handling, based on which parameter you can say it is fast ? is it noticeable for small scale project ?

Thanks for sharing such great list. My everyday coding somehow relates JavaScript. Visual Studio is the best IDE i have ever used, though it has some intellisense issue only for javascript, specially when your project consumed many libraries and some of the library used same method name. As a debugging tool Chrome Dev tool is awesome.

What if somebody try to write 'flight control system' in node.js and 'settimeout' doesn't get fired on time !

Good to know! Microsoft moving towards OpenSource community, early i didn't see much. I've been using it since 2009. They did massive improvements.
